Your stories and photos will show others that happiness and love may be found with a rescued animal, and encourage them to consider adopting their next pet. Valley Humane Society may use the items you send in print or online, in The Scoop e-newsletter, program brochures, donor mailings, social media, or other materials. Items may be edited for length, content, and/or quality.

Sweetie

Sweetie

Emily came to Valley Humane last October as Sweetie, part of the Paw Patrol litter, along with siblings Blaze, Everest, and Skye. After getting spayed at the Phil Scholz Veterinary Surgery Center and spending a few weeks in foster care, Sweetie was adopted by new mom Janice, and promptly renamed Emily.

Reports Janice, “Emily is doing excellent. She’s evolving every day. She has an amazing sweet personality. She’s with me most of the time. Thank you so much for bringing us together.”

Rhea

Rhea

Pismo came to Valley Humane last November as Rhea, along with her brother, Danny. These sweet puppies didn’t have to wait long to get adopted, though, with Pismo finding her new family on the same day as Danny!

Pismo’s mom Gina reports, “She has adjusted sooo well! She loves to be sitting/sleeping on our laps or running laps around the house with the kids! She loves running in the leaves in our backyard as well! Her favorite toy is Foxy, a little orange fox.”

Gus Gus (Angus)

Darling Gus Gus came to Valley Humane at Angus in early November last year. After spending a few days in foster care, his new family scooped him right up! We heard from his new mom recently, who reported that he is thriving in his new family.
