SUMMARY:Foster Families Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Open Your Home: Foster a Pet in Pleasanton with Valley Humane Society\nWant to save more lives with a short-term commitment? When you foster a pet in Pleasanton with Valley Humane Society\, you help us rescue more cats and dogs than our kennel space alone allows. Our next Foster Families Workshop is Thursday\, November 19 at 5 pm\, and it’s your first step toward bringing a foster animal home. \nRSVP here! \nValley Humane Society rescues as many cats and dogs as our available kennel space allows. Adoptions help free up that space\, and foster families make a big difference too. By opening their hearts and homes\, foster families expand the walls of our center so we can save more lives. \nWhy Fostering Makes a Difference\nFostering: \n\nPrepares dogs and cats for adoption\nGives sick or injured animals a place to heal\nHelps young animals stay healthy\nCoaxes shy animals out of their shells\nOffers a short-term volunteer commitment\n\nEverything You Need\, Provided by Valley Humane\nValley Humane Society provides everything you need to foster an animal: veterinary care\, food\, dishes\, litter box\, litter\, travel carrier\, collar and leash\, and more. Foster families bring their animals in for medical checkups\, return them once they reach adoptable status\, and give them lots of love and attention along the way. \nHow to Foster a Pet in Pleasanton\nThe first step to becoming a foster is attending a Foster Families Workshop. You only need to attend one. Everyone in your household who will help care for the foster animal must attend. \nDate: Thursday\, November 19\nTime: 5 pm\nLocation: Valley Humane Society Community Room\, 3670 Nevada Street\, Pleasanton\nRSVP here. \nReady to Become a Foster?\nLearn more about our foster program\, RSVP for this workshop\, or reach us at (925) 426-8656 or info@valleyhumane.org with any questions.
