You’re invited to Valley Humane Society’s next annual Tails at Twilight gala, where we’ll celebrate the pets who touch our lives! The evening begins with a champagne reception featuring delicious hors d’oeuvres, and continues into an elegant seated dinner. Dance with friends and animal lovers and enjoy other fun activities, like our silent and live auctions, which raise funds for Valley Humane’s lifesaving community programs and services.

What does the Tails at Twilight gala support?

Valley Humane Society’s Tails at Twilight Gala is our largest annual fundraising event and proceeds from the gala support Valley Humane’s lifesaving programs and life-enriching services.

Is there a dress code for the gala?

Every year, Valley Humane Society’s Tails at Twilight Gala has a different theme. This year’s gala theme is “Black and White Ball”, and guests are encouraged to wear black or white clothing. This is not a black-tie event, and we encourage you to come in gala attire you feel comfortable and fabulous wearing!

Will there be parking at this event?

Yes, the event venue will have plenty of parking. Parking attendants will guide you to an available space upon arrival.

Are there vegan or gluten-free dinner options?

Good news! All dinner entree options are gluten-free, and this year’s gala menu features a delicious entree choice that is both vegan and vegetarian. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, just let us know in the “comments” section at checkout and we’ll ensure you have a delicious meal that meets your dietary needs.

Can I support using my donor-advised fund (DAF)?

Under federal law governing donor-advised funds, DAFs cannot be used in exchange for goods and services — for example, to pay for tickets to this gala, or to bid on auction items. If you’d like to attend and make a contribution using your DAF, please use personal funds to cover the full admission fee (both non-deductible and deductible portions). After that, you can recommend a grant from your donor-advised fund.

If you’d like to contribute through your DAF during our paddle raise, inform our staff at the gala or email Claire Maniti at cmaniti@valleyhumane.org before the event so we know to invoice you for any pledged amount.

I have a seat at the Gala but cannot attend now. What should I do?

If you can’t attend, please email Claire Maniti at cmaniti@valleyhumane.org with the name of the guest who will be attending in your place. Alternatively, let us know if you’d like to donate your seat back to Valley Humane for someone else to use or if you prefer that we convert your ticket payment to a donation.
