Help Protect Donor’s Wishes: Encourage Governor Newson to Sign SB 1288
Valley Humane Society co-sponsored Senate Bill 1288 to help protect donor intent. The bill has passed through the California Legislature and been presented to the Governor Newsom for signature…now we’re asking for help from supporters to get it across the finish line.
Donor Intent Bill Reaches Governor’s Desk
SB 1288, a bill co-sponsored by Valley Humane to create clearer, more consistent standards for certain assets passing directly to beneficiaries and to help ensure people’s charitable wishes are carried out without unnecessary barriers or delays is headed to the Governor’s desk for signing.
