Animal Advocacy Day

Join companion animal advocates from Valley Humane Society and across the state for a day of action at the California State Capitol in Sacramento. We warmly invite you to join us on April 29th to advocate for pets and their people and meet with legislators. This will be an energizing and impactful experience for everyone.
The day will begin with at 9:00 AM at Westminster Church near the State Capitol, with great speakers and important directions for the day. When the program wraps, the group will walk to the Capitol to meet with legislators and their staff in the legislative office building. Event organizers will set up the meetings and provide talking points on current legislation. You may not necessarily meet with your legislator – but organizers will do their best!

When you register, there will be an option to order a boxed lunch for pick up in the legislative office building – or you can get lunch on your own.
