Valley Humane Society can only rescue as many cats and dogs as we have kennel space available. We rely on ongoing adoptions to free up that space. That’s where foster families can make a big difference. By opening up their hearts and homes, foster families help expand the walls of our center to save more lives.
Join us at Western Garden Nursery on Sunday, June 2 from 11 am - 3 pm for an adoption event. We'll be there with adoptable dogs, plus 10% of sales from the day will be donated to Valley Humane Society. Hope to see you there!

Save the date for Valley Humane Society’s 10th annual Tails at Twilight gala to celebrate the pets who touch our lives! Join us on Saturday, July 13 for a memorable and beautiful night at Casa Real in Pleasanton. The evening begins with a champagne reception featuring delicious hors d’oeuvres, and continues into an elegant seated dinner. Dance with friends and animal lovers and enjoy other fun activities, like our silent and live auctions, which raise funds for Valley Humane’s lifesaving community programs and services.
