School Visit Presentations

Pets 101 is a one-hour interactive workshop which can be customized to the grade level and needs of your students. Topics may include responsible pet guardianship for life, with a review of animal safety and pet communication. For older students, we go over opportunities to help homeless animals and how to give back to the community. Students discover how much time, money, and effort it takes to keep a pet healthy and happy, and we incorporate issues such as pet overpopulation and the importance of adoption vs. buying your pets. Each participating student “adopts” a plush cat or dog with collar and tag to take home in a paper crate (if age-appropriate). Includes a Workbook for each participant.

$15 per student. Minimum of 10 students (max 25)
