Courchevel and Verbier

Apr 21, 2024

Courchevel and Verbier came to Valley Humane in mid-December along with their Ski Resorts littermates, Stowe, Niseko, St. Moritz, and Aspen. After spending a few weeks in foster care and receiving their spay/neuter surgeries at the Phil Scholz Veterinary Surgery Center, they were adopted by new mom Natalie.

Natalie sent us an email a few weeks ago, letting us know that Courchevel and Verbier were now called Quill and Mantis, from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Reports Natalie, “We love our kitties. They adjusted super quickly and live to bounce around the living room. Their favorite spot is my daughter’s bed. Thank you for taking such great care of them.”

Thank you, Natalie and family, for welcoming them into your home and hearts! We are so happy to hear they are thriving.

Your Turn-Tell Us Your Story!

Have you recently adopted a cat or dog from Valley Humane? Let us know how things are going! Send your cutest, clearest photos and all those adorable details about life with your new best friend on the Success Stories form. Be sure to include your first and last name and your pet’s shelter name (if known).

Your stories and photos will show others that happiness and love may be found with a rescued animal, and encourage them to consider adopting their next pet. Valley Humane Society may use the items you send in print or online, in The Scoop e-newsletter, program brochures, donor mailings, social media, or other materials. Items may be edited for length, content, and/or quality.
