After a long ten month stay at the shelter, Latte was adopted today. Latte grew up not knowing anything other than shelter life. She was doing very well until her brother, Decaf was adopted. She then became very depressed and it was hard to see her struggle. We did everything we could to keep her happy, and our socializers constantly worked with her. She finally started cheering up when she was elected as Vice Mayor of Kitty City. During her reign, she was also “Pet of the Week” in the local paper which caught a family’s eye and they came in to meet her.
The family that came in to see her had adopted her brother, Cappacchino in July, and Amici in June. This was so exciting!
We were so happy to finally see her find her forever home, and it’s great that she is a fabulous home now.
