Phoebe came to Valley Humane in October as Shawl, part of the Sweater litter. She was quickly adopted by her new family, which included her new humans, Hilary and Ryan, and her new dog siblings, Eva and Luna.
Her new parents wrote us a few weeks ago, sharing how happy they are with Phoebe and how she is fitting right in with the family.
“Phoebe is still tiny but growing nicely. What she currently lacks in size she makes up in spunk and personality. She has quickly become Queen of the apartment. She is very curious and exploring every inch. She loves spending time on her cat trees, running back and forth between the bedrooms, stealing any open chair/seat her human has just left unoccupied, and is starting to learn the joys of a good Christmas tree.
Phoebe’s love language is play. She especially loves playing fetch with her “mousie.” She is working on her hunting skills and is known to chase after a random leaf or two that has made it’s way into the apartment. Phoebe will often thank her humans for playing with her by giving them a good loving cuddle session where her purrs roar like an engine.
We love her so much and she has been such a joyful little light to our family. We never thought we would get another cat after the loss of our dear Florence, but Phoebe has helped fill our hearts with so much love.
