Adopt a Cat
They’re cute, they’re cuddly…they couldn’t care less what we think! Life with a feline friend can be entertaining, exciting, and ever so rewarding. Cats are playful and particular, purring powerhouses of love and affection, whether classically mysterious and sphinx-like or goofy as a puppy. Find yourself a feline friend today!
Adopt a Dog
Man’s best friend. They’ve been there for us practically since time began, at our side, in our homes…counting on us to accept (and return) the love and affection they consistently offer. Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, each one able to wag, wriggle, or worm their way into our hearts. Discover a dog that delights you today!
Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization, helping us rescue more animals and reach more people than we ever could alone! Put your talents to work in our community and make a difference, make new friends, and help make it all possible!
Donate
Valley Humane Society’s community-focused rescue, resource, and education programs are made available through the generosity of individuals. Lend your support today and help create a world in which every animal is loved and every person knows the love of an animal!
Persephone
Persephone came to Valley Humane Society along with her goddess sisters, Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite, in April. They were surrendered as a group when their original owner had a few too many cats. Persephone is such a sweet cat, and her new guardians discovered that right away.
Pet of the Week: Kit and King
Kit and King are a dynamic duo! Kit, the white calico, will win you over with his soulful gaze and happy purrs once he warms up to you, while King, the tuxedo, is a big bundle of love who enjoys being picked up and hugged.
Harley
Harley came to Valley Humane last December, looking for his new family. Luckily, thanks to the team at Valley Humane’s Phil Scholz Veterinary Surgery Center, he received his neuter surgery three days after arrival, and got adopted just two days after that! Harley got to go home with his new family for the holidays, and is thriving there!
