Join our humane education staff for a night of family fun! See what’s new at the adoption facility, visit with Canine Comfort pet therapy dogs, make animal arts & crafts to take home, and meet special guest Fern Dahlstrom, author of A Home for Charlie.
A Home for Charlie is the story of a homeless kitty and his journey to find his forever home. We’ll enjoy a reading of the book by the author, followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Valley Humane Society.
We’ll raffle off a copy of the book at the end of the evening – all visitors will receive a raffle ticket! Kid-friendly snacks will be available. RSVP’s are appreciated by Friday, May 16.
