Valley Humane Society is bringing some of our adoptable friends to Richert Lumber Ace Hardware in Pleasanton, and we would love for you to join us. It’s Richert’s 50th year anniversary, and we are excited to help them celebrate.
On Saturday, July 18 from 10am to 2pm, stop by to meet adoptable pets, talk with our team, and learn what it looks like to welcome a new companion into your home. There may even be some sweet treats for you, courtesy of Richert’s!
Richert Lumber Ace Hardware has been a family-owned fixture in the Tri-Valley since 1976, and we are grateful to partner with a neighbor who shares our love for this community. It is the perfect spot to spend a Saturday morning and maybe meet the pet who has been waiting for you.

Who you will meet
Our adoption lineup changes from week to week, so the exact dogs, puppies, and kittens on site will depend on who is ready for their forever home that day. That is part of the fun. You never know which playful pup or curious kitten is going to walk right up and decide you are the one.
Our adoption team will be on hand the whole time to make introductions, answer your questions, and help you think through what kind of companion fits your household and lifestyle.
