Valley Humane Society rescues as many cats and dogs as our available kennel space allows. Ongoing adoptions to help to free up that space, but foster families make a big difference. By opening up their hearts and homes, foster families help expand the walls of our center to save more lives.

Fostering saves lives! By opening your heart and home to a cat or dog, you help Valley Humane Society rescue more animals in need. Foster families provide love, care, and a safe space for pets to heal, grow, and prepare for adoption—all supplies and veterinary care are provided. Want to make a difference? Attend our next Foster Families Workshop on Thursday, October 30 at 5 pm at Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton to get started.
